Scala Developer - Contract Opportunity! (London)

Our client in the media & publishing space are looking for someone to join them as a Scala Developer on a Full time contract position

Key Skills:

• Scala & Backend Development - Strong experience with Scala, functional programming, databases, streaming technologies, and AWS.
• Collaboration & Communication - Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, pair program, and collaborate with editorial and commercial colleagues.
• Problem-Solving & Product Thinking - Ability to make strong technical and product decisions, improve engineering practices, and contribute to the wider direction of the organisation.

Contract Details:

• This position will be paying up to £600 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
• Initial 6 Month contract with high likelihood to extend
• 2 days per week onsite in Central London
• Must have the right to work in the UK without needing visa sponsorship
