Full Stack Engineer

Full-Stack Engineer (Python/FastAPI) | £50,000 – £60,000 + Bonus + Equity | London (Hybrid)

High-growth scale-up building a platform that lets any broker and any insurer exchange risk without friction.

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you’ll focus heavily on backend development, building Python APIs, data pipelines, and backend services that power their insurance exchange. You’ll also gain exposure to full-stack development with light React/TypeScript work, plus hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps and AI/LLM tooling.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, collaborating closely with backend, frontend, and product teams to design, build, and ship features end-to-end. Expect to work on everything from API design to PostgreSQL data modelling and AI-driven document processing, ensuring reliable, scalable systems that handle real financial transactions.

Stack: Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, LangChain/LLMs, Azure, Docker, Terraform, React/TypeScript

What you need:

• 1–2 years software engineering experience
• Strong Python fundamentals
• Understanding of SQL & REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git and modern development practices
