We’re partnered with a global HealthTech powerhouse that’s transforming the way healthcare data is connected, protected, and delivered across continents. Their Cloud Infrastructure team plays a critical role in maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance network environments across multiple regions.
They’re now looking for an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to join their UK-based Cloud Platform function - someone who can take ownership of Azure networking, automation, and security posture across a large, complex environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing, building, and maintaining secure cloud network architectures within Azure (VNETs, Subnets, Routing, Peering, VPNs, and Firewalls)
- Implementing and managing network security with Palo Alto firewalls and Azure Firewall
- Using Terraform to manage Infrastructure as Code across network and security layers
- Working closely with the Cloud Platform and Security Engineering teams to ensure resilience, scalability, and compliance
- Supporting global network connectivity and hybrid cloud integration
- Troubleshooting network performance issues and implementing proactive improvements
What they’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Cloud Network Engineer or similar role within large-scale Azure environments
- Strong understanding of Azure networking (VNETs, Subnets, Routing, Load Balancers, NSGs, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto or other enterprise firewall solutions
- Solid grasp of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Familiarity with CI/CD, automation pipelines, and monitoring tools
- Clear communicator who can collaborate effectively across distributed teams
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Azure Network Engineer Associate, Palo Alto PCNSE) are a bonus
