Our client - an ambitious and fast-growing software company in Birmingham - is looking for someone who understands the difference.

They’re searching for an Events & Community Executive who can turn customers, users, and industry professionals into a thriving community around their product and brand.

This role isn’t just about organising venues and sending invites.

It’s about creating moments that people remember and building a community people actually want to be part of.

The Mission

You’ll take ownership of the company’s events and community strategy, helping bring people together both in-person and online.

That means planning and delivering high-quality events while also helping launch and grow an online community where customers, users, and partners can connect, share ideas, and collaborate.

You’ll be the person making sure every event runs smoothly, every guest feels welcomed, and every interaction strengthens the company’s reputation.

This is a role for someone who loves people, loves organisation, and understands how powerful community can be for a growing technology business.

What You'll Be Doing

• Planning and delivering high-quality events across the UK
• Acting as the face of the business at events, building relationships with attendees and clients
• Working behind the scenes to launch and grow the company’s online community
• Coordinating logistics such as venues, speakers, schedules, and event promotion
• Ensuring every event delivers a great experience for attendees
• Collaborating with marketing and leadership teams on community growth strategy
• Helping create a sense of belonging around the brand

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years experience running events (tech, startup, or community events ideal)
• Experience building or managing online communities (Slack, Discord, forums, etc.)
• A personable and confident communicator who enjoys meeting people
• Someone who can represent the company professionally with clients and partners
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable balancing front-facing events and behind-the-scenes planning
• Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys bringing people together.
