TechOps Engineer - Remote (UK)

Up to £46,000 + benefits

ReVybe IT is working with a well-established organisation looking to add a TechOps Engineer to their engineering function.

This role will suit an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys being hands-on, taking ownership of core systems, and contributing to the stability, security, and evolution of a modern infrastructure estate with increasing cloud adoption.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving on-prem and cloud-connected environments, working closely with other engineers to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing, supporting, and improving Linux-based infrastructure
• Managing and maintaining networking components including VPNs and firewalls
• Supporting servers, databases, and core infrastructure services
• Implementing and maintaining monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g. Zabbix or similar)
• Using automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible
• Supporting and contributing to cloud environments, withAWS or GCP preferred
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and acting as an escalation point where required

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in a senior infrastructure engineering role
• Strong Linux systems administration background
• Solid networking fundamentals
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and automation
• Exposure to cloud platforms, ideally AWS or GCP
• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote-first environment
• Clear communication skills and a pragmatic engineering mindset
