Job Title: Device Refresh Technician (Imaging & Migration Support)

Job Overview

The technician will provide onsite support for a device refresh project focused on laptop imaging, data migration, quality checks, and staging. The role involves hands-on execution of imaging and migration processes following a defined runbook, with accurate tracking and reporting of device status.

Scope of Work

• Perform laptop imaging following provided runbook
• Execute user data migration to refreshed devices
• Reimage devices when required
• Perform QC checks (boot, login, network, required apps, labeling)
• Label and stage devices for deployment
• Maintain organized staging area
• Update device status in tracking system in real time
• Document failures and notify lead
• Follow security and site protocols (no deviations)

Daily Responsibilities

• Execute imaging and migration tasks
• Perform QC checklist before staging
• Log device status updates
• Maintain accurate device counts
• Report issues and failures

Deliverables

• Devices imaged and migrated
• QC completed
• Devices staged for deployment
• Accurate device tracking
• End-of-day status updates
