Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion & Client Engagement
- Identify and develop strategic business opportunities within the drone, reality capture, and geospatial markets.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, infrastructure developers, construction firms, and environmental agencies.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and technical demonstrations to secure new business.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to craft compelling proposals and pitch innovative geospatial solutions.
- Technical Expertise & Solution Development
- Understand client needs to provide tailored drone and geospatial technology solutions, including aerial mapping, reality capture, and 3D modelling.
- Leverage your knowledge of GIS, photogrammetry, LiDAR, and geospatial analytics to support technical sales.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
- Sales Strategy & Pipeline Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to achieve revenue targets.
- Track sales metrics, analyse market data, and refine sales strategies to optimize growth.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with project teams to align client expectations with operational capabilities.
- Provide market feedback to product development teams to influence future technology offerings.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to increase brand visibility.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in business development or technical sales, preferably in the drone, GIS, or geospatial technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of drone operations, reality capture, GIS, and remote sensing technologies.
- Proficiency in geospatial data processing software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, Pix4D, Bentley ContextCapture).
- Demonstrated success in client acquisition and relationship management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support business growth.
