Project Improvement Coordinator
Right Now Group are currently working with a large logistics company based in Colnbrook seeking an experience Project Improvement Coordinator to maintain and support the company's systems across the UK and North America. Acting as the link between internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth integration's, streamlined processes, and continuous improvements in line with service excellence.
Salary: £35,000
Location: Colnbrook
Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30
Duties:
- Oversee and support core systems including Carrier Management, Customs Integration, Customer & Carrier Integration's, E-commerce plugins, Warehouse Automation, and Logistics Picking Solutions.
- Maintain back-end process setups, ensuring accuracy and system reliability across regions.
- Manage and track warehouse automation suppliers, scheduling maintenance, monitoring performance, and ensuring spare parts are ordered in line with operational needs.
- Provide guidance and training to Operations, Customer Service, Accounting, and Sales on system use and troubleshooting.
- Support teams on Express & Freight systems, Returns Portals, Payment Solutions, External Carrier Applications, and Duty Calculation tools.
- Work closely with Sales and Account Managers to design and implement system solutions for existing and potential customers.
- Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities, liaising with IT and relevant teams to develop and implement changes.
- Conduct testing on updated processes, ensuring functionality and communicating outcomes to business owners.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodology to streamline operations, automate manual tasks, and reduce inefficiencies.
- Carry out quality audits, creating action plans to enhance service and compliance.
- Directly manage customer relationships, providing integration and solution support.
- Research new solutions to meet customer requirements and adapt existing setups where needed.
- Design and deliver operational and performance reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
Essential:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Experience in learning, understanding, and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Confident in providing training and knowledge sharing.
