Junior Product Manager
A growing technology team in Berkshire is looking for a Junior Product Manager / Business Analyst to support their Product Lead on internal and customer-facing business applications.
This is a hands-on delivery role, not a senior roadmap seat. You’ll turn user and business needs into clear requirements, help manage change through the product lifecycle, and work day-to-day with developers, testers and stakeholders.
What you’ll do
- Gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Support change requests and product updates from idea through to release
- Work closely with developers to make sure what’s built matches what’s needed
- Help with new-business / system configuration and onboarding
- Support test plans, UAT and light user training
- Improve processes and documentation as you go
What we’re looking for
- Early-career experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar in a software / digital delivery environment
- Comfortable writing specs or user stories and working with a development team
- Organised, clear communicator, happy owning the detail
- Logical process thinker with an interest in continuous improvement
- Degree in IT, Business, Management or similar useful but not essential
Nice to have
- Exposure to enterprise applications or ERP (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Experience in regulated, supply-chain or aviation-related environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
What this isn’t
- A senior Product Manager or Head of Product role
- A data analyst / BI role
- A Power Platform / low-code developer role
Package
- c. £34,000 per annum
- 9-month fixed-term contract
- Based in Wokingham area (Berkshire), with collaborative on-site working and possibility of hybrid working after on-boarding period.
