With continued growth and a strong global project pipeline, they are expanding their technical team to support and enhance these cutting-edge systems in the UK and abroad.In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting, maintaining, and optimising high-value technology platforms, blending hands-on work with advanced system-level understanding across control software, embedded hardware, and networked OT environments. From system commissioning and integration through to troubleshooting and performance optimisation, you'll help deliver reliable, scalable, and intelligent solutions deployed in demanding real-world conditions.This is an exceptional opportunity for a technically minded individual who excels at the intersection of hardware, software, and control systems, and wants to contribute to a collaborative, forward-thinking technology environment. In this role, you'll have the chance to travel internationally - primarily across the USA, with occasional trips to China and India. You can expect to travel approximately eight times per year, for no longer than two weeks per trip, with all expenses fully covered.The Role:
- Provide advanced technical support for integrated software, hardware, and OT systems
- Lead diagnostics, troubleshooting, and commissioning of complex automation and control solutions
- Drive system optimisation and reliability improvements, ensuring seamless hardware-software interaction
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and implement enhancements
- Full expenses paid travel to USA, China and India, (mainly USA)
The Person:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in systems integration, OT environments, or advanced hardware/software support
- Strong understanding of networked control systems, diagnostics tools, and real-time system performance
- Skilled in fault analysis, system commissioning, and maintaining high-availability industrial systems
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required
