This role has been created to build on those foundations, ensuring IT services are secure, sustainable and aligned with long-term organisational goals. Reporting into a senior operational leader, you will act as a trusted business partner, not just a technical specialist, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
You will lead a small IT team consisting of an experienced Network Manager and a newly qualified apprentice, providing technical guidance, structure and leadership. The role is both strategic and hands-on, with responsibility spanning infrastructure, safeguarding, knowledge management and service delivery, while contributing to discussions around emerging technologies such as AI and immersive digital platforms.

The Role:
IT Services Manager
Senior technical and operational lead responsible for IT services strategy, infrastructure resilience, cyber security and safeguarding
Act as a business partner to senior stakeholders, contributing to whole-organisation decision making
Lead and develop a small IT team, providing technical oversight and support
Own IT processes, documentation and knowledge management to ensure sustainable systems and continuity
Fully onsite role, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility required to support operational needs
The Person:
Proven experience in an IT leadership or IT services management role
Strong technical background across infrastructure, cloud platforms, networks and cyber security
Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational level in a fast-paced environment
Confident communicator who can advise, influence and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders
Experience leading teams and supporting the development of junior staff
Happy to be onsite five days per week
