Are you a Senior E&I Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Instrument Technician looking for a days-based role where you can take real ownership of maintenance standards, deputise for a Team Leader, and play a key part in shutdown planning across a complex process environment?

Do you want a days based Monday-Friday role (8-4) where you'll be trusted as the technical "go-to", working to high standards in a safety-led process plant with varied maintenance and planned shutdown work?

On offer is a long-term, permanent position within a well-established renewable fuels business, supporting a technically complex process operation, where you'll be given senior responsibility across E&I maintenance activities and ongoing development.

Known for safe, high-quality operations and continued investment in plant reliability, the company is strengthening its in-house maintenance capability to support uptime and deliver planned works to a high standard.

In this role you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, maintain and update the CMMS with robust feedback, and ensure work meets internal standards and external requirements (EA, HSE, EEMUA). You'll also support apprentices and colleagues, and take a lead role during shutdowns, with overtime available during peak periods.

This role would suit an experienced E&I maintenance professional from oil & gas, chemical, or similar process plant backgrounds, looking for a senior role with technical responsibility, stable hours, and long-term prospects.

The Role:

  • Planned and reactive E&I maintenance within a process environment
  • Deputise for the E&I Team Leader and provide technical support to the wider team
  • Lead planning and execution of shutdown maintenance activities
  • Maintain CMMS records and provide robust job feedback to stakeholders
  • Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, with an on-call rota and overtime during shutdowns

The Person:

  • E&I maintenance experience within oil & gas / chemical / process plant
  • Strong knowledge of process control instrumentation (temp, pressure, flow, level, weight) and maintenance standards
