.NET Technical Architect - SC Cleared - Taunton

My client is seeking a Technical Architect to design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role involves defining technical standards, guiding development teams, and ensuring architectural integrity across applications and platforms. The Architect will act as the custodian of technical vision , ensuring that solutions align with both business needs and long-term technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Define architecture blueprints for Azure-hosted applications.
• Establish coding and configuration standards.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and other roles to ensure alignment.
• Oversee CI/CD pipeline design and integration.
• Ensure security and compliance with industry frameworks
• Document architecture decisions in Microsoft SharePoint.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex design challenges.
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to standards.
• Identify opportunities for modernization and technical uplift.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in Azure architecture and services.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git workflows, and automation.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to balance innovation with risk management.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
• Must have solid .NET/C Sharp experience
• Experience in regulated enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and monitoring.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud and on-prem integration.

Hybrid position - £450 per day.
