Business Systems Analyst

I am seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Systems Analyst to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving the business processes through the effective use of technology. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse data, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT systems and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business success.

Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

Location: Hybrid - Radstock | High Wycombe attendance on occasions

Contract: Permanent

Salary: To be Confirmed

This is to work on a Hybrid basis; However, you will be required to travel to the Radstock and High Wycombe sites on occasions.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams ensuring processes and systems are aligned with company goals
• Perform, identify and deliver specific ERP current analysis identifying gaps and opportunities for process improvement
• Manage a proactive system improvement process across departments
• Provide technical specifications for automating and optimising business processes
• Suggest expert guidance, advice and solutions on system options, risks and business impacts
• Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts in a professional and constructive manner
• Improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Maintain and update documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure that delivered solutions meet the business requirements and standards
• Provide day to day IT and systems support to end users when necessary

Whilst the responsibilities silhouette the typical functions of this role, you may be required to carry out other duties supported to your areas of expertise, competencies and capabilities for growth and development.

To be considered:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of Computer systems, hardware and software
• Understanding of root-cause analysis, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP systems and business process improvement
• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role within an IT environment
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for system and process opportunities
