Workday Functional Analyst
Job Description
We are supporting a leading organisation undergoing a major post-acquisition transformation programme to implement Workday Financials across an integrated business.We are seeking a Functional Workday SME with a strong accounting and finance background to play a key role in defining and validating the current-state Workday Financials configuration and supporting the design of future-state processes.This is a hands-on functional role working closely with Finance, IT, and transformation teams to ensure accurate system alignment across Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), General Ledger, reporting, and consolidation processes.Key Responsibilities:Review and analyse existing Workday Financials configuration and processesDefine current-state system design, inputs, and financial data flowsConduct detailed fit-gap analysis between as-is and to-be processesSupport financial process harmonisation across acquired entitiesContribute to design decisions across reporting, consolidation, and sub-consolidationWork closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment between finance requirements and Workday configurationSupport testing, validation, and implementation activitiesKey Requirements:Strong experience as a Functional Workday Financials SME or ConsultantSolid background in accounting, finance, or finance systems transformationProven experience delivering Workday Financials implementations end-to-endStrong understanding of P2P, R2R, GL, and financial reporting processesExperience working in complex, multi-entity or post-acquisition environments (insurance experience desirable)Ability to translate finance requirements into functional system designRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
