2nd Line Support Engineer
Location: Central London / Client Sites Working Pattern: 4 days office / 1 day WFH

What you'll be doing- Acting as a key escalation point for 1st line engineers, owning complex issues end-to-end
- Delivering high-quality 2nd line support across desktop, server and cloud environments
- Supporting business-critical systems in real time, where downtime isn't an option
- Building strong relationships with end users, from junior staff through to C-suite
- Managing incidents, prioritising effectively and communicating clearly throughout
- Working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve issues fast
- Contributing to continuous improvement across processes, tooling and service delivery
- Taking part in an on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours work (paid overtime)
You're not just technically capable, you care about the service behind it.
- 2+ years' experience in a 2nd line (or strong 1st/2nd line hybrid) role
- Confident communicator, able to work directly with senior stakeholders
- Naturally curious, always looking to understand the "why", not just the fix
- Calm under pressure, organised and methodical in your approach
- Someone who takes pride in delivering a genuinely high standard of work
- A team player who's happy to support and mentor more junior engineers
- Microsoft stack: Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure AD
- Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams
- Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Intune, Autopilot
- Networking (Cisco), VOIP (Teams)
- PowerShell scripting
- SQL Server, FSLogix, Azure Storage
- Cyber security and conditional access
- Exposure to enterprise-level environments in the financial sector
