Assistant Accountant

£28,000-£32,000 + Bonus | Full-time | 1 Day WFH | Free Parking | Study Support

We're looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join a friendly, sociable, and vibrant team within a fast-growing tech company providing IT Support, Telecoms, and Cloud solutions to SMEs across the Thames Valley. You'll take ownership of day-to-day financial tasks while our external accountant manages Tax, VAT, and PAYE.

• Daily accounting tasks: invoicing, expenses, reconciliations

• Maintain financial records & support month-end

• Prepare internal reports and financial analysis

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow

• Support improvements to financial processes (Xero experience ideal)

• Around 2 years' accounting/finance experience

• Solid understanding of accounting principles

• Strong Excel skills

• Experience with Xero preferred

• Analytical, organised, and proactive

• Highly competitive salary: £28,000-£32,000 (DOE)
