BI Analyst / Data Analyst (Power Platform)

Robert Half are working with a leading client and are seeking a talented, detail-oriented BI Analyst / Data Analyst with experience of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)

This is an excellent opportunity for an BI Analyst or BI Developer looking to expand their skills within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, support data quality initiatives, and drive user adoption of new tools.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• 1-2 years' experience working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, basic Power BI)
• Understanding of Dataverse and relational data concepts (tables, relationships, keys, business rules)
• Proficiency in Power Fx; familiarity with DAX or Power Query (M) for data shaping
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to data validation and documentation

Key Responsibilities

Power Platform Delivery & Support

• Develop and iterate on basic features in Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and Power Automate flows
• Assist in building entry-level Power BI visuals and datasets
• Follow agile delivery practices, document solutions, and contribute to user acceptance testing and release readiness
• Support SharePoint configurations related to apps and flows
• Aid in migrating existing flows and assets during platform transitions

Data Quality & Stewardship

• Ensure data quality across company products using Dataverse, defining rules for completeness, validity, and uniqueness
• Monitor data quality KPIs, report trends, and support root cause analysis and remediation processes
• Implement preventative and corrective measures for data quality (e.g., lookup consistency, required fields, issue triage)
