Commercial Finance Manager

As the business continues to scale, they are looking to strengthen their commercial finance function with the appointment of a Senior Commercial Finance Manager. This is a highly visible role working closely with operational and leadership teams to support strategic growth, improve commercial performance, and enhance financial decision-making across the organisation.

This position will play a central role in supporting commercial and operational teams with financial insight, performance analysis, and strategic planning. You will act as a trusted advisor to department heads while leading a small finance team and helping drive improvements across reporting and planning processes.

• Work closely with senior leadership to support commercial strategy and business planning
• Produce detailed financial models, forecasts, and performance analysis
• Provide meaningful commercial insight to support operational decision-making
• Oversee monthly reporting activities and ensure delivery of accurate management information
• Support budgeting and long-range planning processes across multiple business areas
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency
• Drive process improvements across finance systems, controls, and reporting
• Mentor and manage junior finance team members
• Build strong cross-functional relationships across operational and support functions

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Previous experience within commercial finance, FP&A, or strategic finance roles
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Experience partnering with non-finance teams in a commercial environment
• Proven ability to manage priorities within a fast-moving business
• Strong leadership skills with experience developing junior staff
• Commercially aware, proactive, and solutions-focused

• Background within technology, digital services, or professional services environments
• Experience working within high-growth or transformation-focused organisations
• Exposure to systems improvement or business change projects
