Cyber Security Programme Director

Robert Half are supporting a global consulting firm on a Director-level Programme Manager requirement for a Global Risk Consulting Firm. This engagement sits within a cutting-edge Frontier AI and Cyber Security initiative focused on improving vulnerability management, patching and technology upgrade processes across a complex enterprise environment. The initial assignment is expected to run for 3 months, delivering a proof of concept and defining the roadmap for a significantly larger transformation programme. Successful delivery is expected to lead into a sizeable 18-24 month programme of work, creating a unique opportunity to shape a high-profile AI, Cyber and Technology transformation from the outset.

Contract Assignment Details

  • Rate: £750/day + 12.07% Holiday Pay via PAYE model
  • Location: Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite in the City of London
  • Duration: Initial 3-month engagement with strong potential to extend

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a large-scale cyber transformation programme focused on patching, upgrades and vulnerability remediation.
  • Drive improvements in speed-to-patch and security risk reduction across the organisation.
  • Manage delivery across multiple workstreams within a complex global matrix environment.
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders at Director and Executive level.
  • Establish programme governance, risk management and delivery controls.
  • Coordinate technology, security and business teams to deliver strategic change outcomes.

Required Experience

  • Experience within Capital Markets, Financial Services, Exchanges, Trading, Market Infrastructure, Banking or similarly regulated environments as a Cyber Programme Director with proven Programme Director or Senior Programme Manager experience delivering enterprise-wide transformation.
  • Strong cyber security domain knowledge, ideally covering vulnerability management, patching, infrastructure security and risk reduction.
  • Experience delivering major change programmes within complex matrix organisations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Demonstrable track record leading large-scale technology transformation programmes.
