Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Specialist

Fixed-Term Contract - 12 Months +

We are currently working on an exclusive basis with a forward-thinking organisation undergoing a major business transformation programme. As part of this initiative, we are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Specialist to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping and embedding new processes, ensuring that finance operations and project accounting are future-ready, efficient, and strategically aligned with business needs.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Analyse and document business processes, including "As-Is" and "To-Be" process mapping, and provide recommendations for improvements.

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, the implementation partner, and global process owners to design and configure solutions within Dynamics 365 F&O.

  • Support user acceptance testing cycles alongside the Testing Manager.

  • Conduct workshops with stakeholders to capture requirements, detect gaps, and ensure solutions meet operational needs and best practice standards.

  • Focus on key process areas such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Fixed Assets, Stock Management, Cash & Bank, Credit & Collection, Intercompany, and Consolidation.

  • Translate business requirements into streamlined, system-driven processes that minimise manual intervention and increase efficiency.

  • Document formalised processes for handover to the business at Go Live.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • A degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience.

  • A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, or similar).

  • Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across core finance modules.

  • Strong ability to document process maps using Visio (or similar tools).

  • Proven track record of delivering solutions that balance compliance, control, and efficiency.
