Data Engineer - MId level

Robert Half is recruiting for a Mid level Data Engineer for a 12 Month FTC.

ROLE: Mid level Data Engineer

LENGTH: 12 Months FTC

LOCATION: UK-based (with occasional London office presence)

PAY: depending on experience

I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Mid level Data Engineer to join a growing Product Innovation team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable data solutions and working with modern cloud technologies.

The Role

• Designing and building robust data pipelines and architectures

• Working with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse)

• Developing and optimising ETL processes

• Ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance

• Supporting data science and AI initiatives

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions

Essential skills

• Strong experience in data engineering (SQL, Python, or Scala)

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Solid understanding of data modelling and pipeline design

• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI or Tableau)

• Ability to troubleshoot and optimise data systems
