Director of FP&A / Finance Director (Interim – 6 Months)

We’re partnering with a fast-growing international SaaS organisation to appoint an interim Director of FP&A for an initial 6-month assignment. This is a full-time opportunity requiring on-site presence in Cambridge on a hybrid basis.

This role offers the chance to make an immediate and visible impact, enhancing reporting, delivering meaningful commercial insight, and equipping leadership with clear, data-driven financial direction.

The Opportunity

• Lead the development and enhancement of board reporting, producing high-quality, insight-led packs centred on key SaaS metrics such as ARR, churn, and LTV/CAC
• Take ownership of FP&A and performance reporting, including forecasting, budgeting, and detailed variance analysis
• Work closely with senior leadership to provide commercial insight and support strategic decision-making
• Identify and implement improvements to reporting, processes, and financial discipline, embedding best practice across the function
• Operate as a hands-on finance leader, equally comfortable shaping strategy and diving into the detail when required

About You

• Demonstrated experience within a B2B SaaS environment, with a strong grasp of core SaaS metrics and performance drivers
• A proven ability to produce high-quality board-level reporting and translate data into actionable insight
• Commercially minded, confident influencing and constructively challenging senior stakeholders
• Pragmatic and hands-on, with experience working in agile or lean environments and driving meaningful change
• ACA qualified (ideally Big 4 trained) preferred, though not essential
