Finance Analyst

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are partnering with a Technology Consultancy in London to recruit an immediate, temporary Finance/Business Analyst for 3 months.

Role:

Our client is looking for an immediate temporary, Finance/Business Analyst to assist them for 3 months. You will be responsible for following duties:

• Analyse financial and operational data to support business decision-making.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical models to provide insights into performance.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational or financial improvement.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc analysis and data requests.
• Assist with the preparation and automation of regular financial and management reports.
• Maintain and improve reporting templates and data sources.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial reporting outputs.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
• Assist in maintaining robust financial controls and compliance procedures.
• Support internal and external audit processes through data preparation and documentation.
• Ensure financial records, processes, and systems meet regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Assist with documentation and improvement of finance procedures.
• Support the management and optimisation of finance systems and reporting tools.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve data workflows.
• Assist with implementation, upgrades, and maintenance of finance-related systems.
• Act as a liaison between finance and IT where systems improvements are required.
• Provide analytical support across all finance functions including accounting, reporting, and operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather data and improve reporting capabilities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.

Profile:

The successful temporary Finance/Business Analyst will have 3+ Years experience.

You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.

Salary & Benefits:

This role is paying between £225-£250 Umbrella per day dependant on experience.
