Front End Web Developer
Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading organisation to recruit a Front End Web Developer on a contract basis.
Role* The Front End Web Developer will develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React, modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. * Build scalable, component-based front-end architectures for single-page applications. * Translate UI/UX designs into clean, efficient, and maintainable code. * Integrate and manage content-driven experiences using Payload CMS. * Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless digital experiences. * Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces across devices. * Optimise application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. * Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve front-end issues efficiently. * Follow best practices in front-end development, including code quality, testing, and performance optimisation. * Stay up to date with modern front-end technologies, tools, and CMS-driven architectures.
Profile* The Front End Web Developer will have strong experience with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+). * Proven experience building and maintaining single-page applications. * Hands-on experience with Payload CMS, including content modelling and API integration. * Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and component-based architecture. * Ability to translate design concepts into production-ready front-end code. * Strong knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. * Experience with performance optimisation techniques for modern web applications. * Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices. * Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. * Experience with modern front-end tooling and workflows.
