Frontend Developer
Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading organisation to recruit a Front End Web Developer on on an initial 6 month Fixed Term Contract.
Role
- The Front End Web Developer will develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React, modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Build scalable, component-based front-end architectures for single-page applications.
- Translate UI/UX designs into clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Integrate and manage content-driven experiences using Payload CMS.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless digital experiences.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces across devices.
- Optimise application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve front-end issues efficiently.
- Follow best practices in front-end development, including code quality, testing, and performance optimisation.
- Stay up to date with modern front-end technologies, tools, and CMS-driven architectures.
Profile
- The Front End Web Developer will have strong experience with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Proven experience building and maintaining single-page applications.
- Hands-on experience with Payload CMS, including content modelling and API integration.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and component-based architecture.
- Ability to translate design concepts into production-ready front-end code.
- Strong knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with performance optimisation techniques for modern web applications.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience with modern front-end tooling and workflows.
