The role:

Lead and develop the Group legal function, including commercial, corporate, data protection, and regulatory
Own US legal exposure, including commercial contracting with US customers
Own UK and EU commercial and corporate work, including customer SSAs, DPAs, partner and reseller agreements, M&A support, and corporate governance
Partner with the Quality and Regulatory function on the legal aspects of compliance in the UK, EU, and US.
Manage external counsel on cost, quality, and scope across the UK, EU, US and beyond.
Support the Board on listed company obligations
Lead legal response to disputes, regulatory queries, and significant commercial escalations.
Ensure proportionate insurance is in place.
Line manage our Legal Counsel and the Paralegal who report to you.
Improve how the legal function uses AI and workflow tools to move faster with no loss of quality.
