IT Manager

Robert Half Technology are assisting a growing technology organisation to recruit an IT Manager on a contract basis. 6-month minimum contract. Part-time working - 3 days per week. Hybrid working - London based. ASAP start.

Role

• The IT Manager will manage and maintain the organisation's IT environment, ensuring reliable, secure and efficient day-to-day operations.
• Manage the company's macOS and Apple device estate, including device enrolment, configuration, application deployment, patching and compliance.
• Administer endpoint management platforms including Microsoft Intune and JAMF, supporting device provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Manage Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including users, groups, permissions, licensing, MFA, SSO and Conditional Access.
• Provide hands-on IT support across hardware, software, endpoint, identity and access issues.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including user accounts, access and device provisioning.
• Maintain IT assets, software records, documentation, processes and support procedures.
• Support IT security and compliance requirements, ensuring devices and users remain appropriately managed and secure.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate IT processes, including device provisioning, reporting and routine support activities.

Profile

• The IT Manager will have strong experience in IT Support, IT Operations, Endpoint Management or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting macOS and Apple devices.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, JAMF or other MDM technologies.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Entra ID / Azure AD experience.
• Good understanding of MFA, SSO, Conditional Access and identity management.
• Experience with Apple Business Manager and automated device enrolment would be advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities, with the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a wider team.
