Implementation Consultant

Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading financial services organisation to recruit a Implementation Consultant on a contract basis - Hybrid working - London based

The Implementation Consultant has responsibility for the following functions within the Implementations department:

• Support all Client and Project Implementations
• External and Internal Customer Testing support
• System Demonstrations where required
• Relationship Management with both external and internal stakeholders
• Resolution of testing incidents as they occur (technical / functional)
• Buyer / Supplier technical configuration and file format support
• Buyer / Supplier Master Data testing tasks
• Custom reporting requirements
• Customer support with migration to clients new platform
• Ad Hoc tasks as required
• Work proactively and positively with all areas of the business in line with the client Vision.

Role

• Support all Client and Project Implementations

1. Project planning and coordination support
2. Document and maintain trackers
3. Undertake within defined policy, procedures and SLA

• External and Internal Customer Testing support

1. Support test scripting and execution activities of new and existing customers
2. Support Internal Testing activities
3. Undertake within defined policy, procedures and SLA

• System Demonstrations

1. Setup and confidently lead online and in person client system demonstrations to existing and prospective clients
2. Undertake within defined policy, procedures and SLA

• Relationship Management with both external and internal stakeholders

1. Effectively manage relationships with both new and existing customers
2. Effectively manage relationships with internal customers
3. Undertake within defined policy, procedures and SLA

• Resolution of testing incidents as they occur (technical / functional)

1. First line support for testing incidents
2. Work with IT where required for additional technical support
3. Undertake within defined policy, procedures and SLA

• Buyer / Supplier technical configuration and file formats support

1. Support Buyers technical configuration of their ERP system
2. Answer queries on supported file formats such as XML, ANSI, MT940s, Excel
3. Answer queries on host-to-host connections and file exchanges
4. Undertake within defined policy, procedures and SLA

• Buyer / Supplier Master Data support tasks

1. Support entry of master data in Test Environment
2. Undertake within defined policy, procedures and SLA

• Reporting

1. Support all implementation reporting requirements
2. Support clients with custom reporting requests
3. Undertake within defined policy, procedures and SLA

Profile

• 1+ years' experience supporting or managing external Client Implementation projects or experience of working in a Financial Services environment
• Proven technical problem-solving skills
• Experience of working in an environment driven by constantly changing levels of work and ability to cope under pressure
• Able to demonstrate a high level of competence in combining professional call-handling skills with data/interactive web transactions
