Infrastructure Team Leader

The Role

As Infrastructure Team Leader, you'll be responsible for:

• leading a small team of infrastructure specialists, responsible for monitoring, supporting and maintaining a reliable and high-performing server, storage and data-centre infrastructure
• coordinating activities with internal and 3rd party resources across multiple international sites
• lead continuous improvement of backups, disaster recovery and monitoring processes
• identify opportunities to implement new technologies in line with IT strategy, driving automation and continuous improvement
• maintaining standards and adhering to compliance processes and procedures, in line with various IT and security frameworks
• lead on exciting infrastructure change projects and initiatives

About you

Applicants for the Infrastructure Team Leader role will:

• have sound experience gained as an infrastructure engineer, systems administrator, or similar, with strong knowledge across storage, server and data-centres, in particular Microsoft based infrastructure
• be experienced with hyper-visor technologies (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Proxmox)
• have knowledge or experience of automation / orchestration (e.g. Ansible, Terraform) and container platforms (e.g. Kubernetes) would be beneficial
• be comfortable working in a regulated environment and experience driving compliance with frameworks / standards
• be comfortable working in an office based environment and with occasional international travel
