Job Description: Interim Finance Business Partner Location: Winnersh (Hybrid)Type: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract Salary: £75,000-£90,000
Overview A high-growth SaaS organisation is seeking a commercially minded, data-driven Finance Business Partner to play a pivotal role during a period of transformation. This role blends hands-on management reporting with strategic business partnering, requiring strong technical accounting knowledge alongside advanced analytical capability. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Excel, data manipulation, and AI-driven insight, with the ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful recommendations. You will lead the month-end process, create board-level reporting, and collaborate across the organisation to support decision making and drive value.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, analyse, and deliver executive-level board packs, turning data into clear business insights

Manage, interpret, and validate large and complex datasets, identifying trends and opportunities

Partner with functional leaders to support forecasting, planning, and strategic decision making

Build and refine financial models and scenario analysis, focusing on SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, retention)

Champion the use of automation and AI-enhanced reporting tools

Support the organisation as it navigates potential private equity-related processes

Operate as a self-starter, managing competing priorities and delivering under tight deadlines

Drive continuous improvement across finance through best-practice recommendations
Requirements

Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)

Strong management accounting and month-end experience, ideally within a SaaS or technology-led environment

Advanced Excel capability and experience with BI tools such as Power BI

Demonstrable experience with AI-driven analytics and large-scale finance data platforms

Proven ability to produce board-ready materials and present insights to senior stakeholders

Proactive, self-sufficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Excellent attention to detail, communication, and business partnering skills

Experience with, or understanding of, private-equity exit processes is advantageous

Strong systems experience, including involvement in system improvements or implementations
