Junior Data Analyst

Robert Half Technology are assisting a global Pharmaceutical organisation to recruit a Junior Data Analyst on a 6 month contract basis - Hybrid Working (1 day per week onsite) - London based

The Junior Data Analyst will You play a key role in turning data into actionable insights, supporting decision-making, and helping bridge the gap between technical teams and the wider business.

Role

• The Junior Data Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Extract, manipulate, and analyse data using SQL and Python
• Communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences
• Support data validation, testing, and deployment processes across different environments (Development, Test, and Production)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and reporting processes

Profile

• The Junior Data Analyst will have a degree in a relevant field (e.g. Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or similar)
• 0-2 years' experience in a Data Analyst role (including internships or placements)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with Power BI for reporting and visualisation
• Working knowledge of SQL for data querying
• Basic to intermediate Python skills for data analysis
• Clear understanding of data lifecycle environments: Development, Test, and Production
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
