The Company

A Hong Kong-founded logistics technology platform now in its fourteenth year, this is a business that has scaled across Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe entirely through organic growth - no acquisitions, just a founding team that plants a skeleton crew in a new market and builds from scratch. Berlin and New York both launched in the last six months. London is next. With a founder-led culture and an entrepreneurial leadership team, the business moves fast, operates with genuine autonomy at the local level, and still carries the energy of a startup despite operating at serious scale across 20+ markets.

The Role

This is a pre-launch hire. You'll be one of the first senior people through the door in the UK, and your brief is to build the marketing function from the ground up - developing and executing a UK-specific go-to-market plan ahead of launch, then scaling a team of three beneath you once live. The role spans the full funnel: brand awareness and positioning, B2B customer acquisition, digital performance marketing (paid social, Google Ads, network campaigns), CRM, content and communications. You'll work closely with regional and global teams in Hong Kong but own the UK strategy outright - adapting frameworks that have worked elsewhere to fit the local market rather than following a script.

Day-to-day will include:

  • Developing and owning the UK pre-launch marketing strategy, from brand introduction through to acquisition and retention
  • Managing performance across paid digital channels - Facebook Ads, Google Ads, network campaigns - with a focus on CAC and ROI
  • Deriving actionable insights from marketing and product data to drive growth hacking and ongoing optimisation
  • Building and managing relationships with external agencies and partners
  • Hiring and leading a local marketing team of three
  • Collaborating with functional teams in Hong Kong across platform, product, driver operations and corporate solutions

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years in a marketing role, ideally within a high-growth tech or platform business
  • Genuine full-funnel capability - you're as comfortable in a performance dashboard as you are writing a brief or shaping a brand narrative
  • Experience in digital acquisition, CRM, content and offline marketing - all-round operators preferred over channel specialists
  • Data-driven instincts: you build strategy from numbers, not intuition alone
  • Startup or scale-up experience is important - you need to be comfortable building without a playbook and moving quickly in ambiguous environments
  • Experience working with or within Asian or international markets would be a strong advantage
  • Entrepreneurial, commercially minded, and able to work closely with a leadership team that has high standards and moves fast
