Power BI Developer

Robert Half Technology are assisting a large, market-leading fashion brand to recruit a Power BI Developer on a contract basis.Hybrid working - London based.

Role* The Power BI Developer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making across the business.* Collaborate with stakeholders across merchandising, finance, e-commerce, and operations to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.* Collect, model, and prepare datasets from various systems, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency.* Develop and optimise Power BI data models, DAX calculations, and visualisations.* Implement best practices for data governance, report performance, and workspace management.* Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure efficient data flows and reliable reporting structures.* Troubleshoot and resolve reporting or data model issues swiftly and effectively.* Stay up to date with new Power BI features and broader BI trends to continually enhance reporting capability across the organisation.

Profile* Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Power BI Developer or similar BI role.* Strong commercial experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and dashboard design.* Proficient in SQL and experienced in working with relational and cloud-based data sources.* Familiarity with Azure tooling such as Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks beneficial.* Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
