Project Manager - IT

Contract: 12 months

Engagement: Day Rate PAYE

Overview Robert Half are seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to lead a multi-site Wi-Fi refresh. The role involves coordinating internal teams and vendors to deliver hardware upgrades on time, within budget and scope. Requires strong organisation, proactive risk control, and effective stakeholder communication.

Key Duties

Delivery

• Lead Wi-Fi refresh and other infrastructure projects.

• Create and manage plans, milestones, and dependencies.

• Coordinate with IT, comms, facilities, and customer teams.

• Align delivery with business needs.

Stakeholders

• Act as key contact, managing expectations and updates.

• Provide reports, briefings, and regular communication.

• Work with site teams to minimise disruption.

Suppliers

• Manage third-party delivery and installations.

• Track dependencies and validate outputs.

• Ensure obligations are met.

Risk & Change

• Maintain RAID log, escalate issues as needed.

• Identify/mitigate risks early.

• Support change and comms activity for adoption.

Governance

• Report progress, KPIs, and budgets to forums and leadership.

• Maintain documentation and handover for BAU teams.

Candidate Profile

• Track record delivering infrastructure/network projects.

• Strong stakeholder and supplier management.

• Skilled in RAID and governance reporting.

• Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
