Project Manager OR Functional BA - Sap 4 Hana implementation

Robert Half is recruiting for a Project Manager OR Functional BA with experience in implemenating Sap 4 Hana for an aviation client on a 3-4 month contract.

**This role is outside IR35**

ROLE: Project Manager OR Functional BA

LENGTH: go live in October (3-4 Months)

LOCATION: On site 4 days in Surrey

PAY: £500 - £600 per day Outside IR35

Overview

We're exclusively recruiting for a pivotal contract role to support a major SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation in the aviation sector. This is a functional-facing PM or BA role w offering the chance to drive delivery at the heart of a high-impact programme.

Requirements

-Join a significant SAP S/4HANA implementation project, currently mid-flight, with Go Live planned for October 2025.

-Act as the bridge between the internal finance/business teams (UK & Europe) and the external delivery partner leading the technical implementation.

-Be the go-to resource ensuring the project stays on track across all workstreams — planning, issue resolution, UAT, training, and stakeholder engagement.

-Hands-on functional oversight from build to UAT, training coordination, through to Go Live.

-Support IT-lite UK team, working closely with the Italian office (who have delivered a similar project internally).

-Expected to floor-walk, capture issues, manage risk, and oversee project governance and comms.

-Responsible for training oversight, stakeholder management, and ensuring high adoption among business users.

-Private Cloud deployment; lift-and-shift delivery model managed by external partner.

Must-Haves:

Strong Project Manager or Functional Business Analyst background.

Experience with full SAP lifecycle projects (start to post-Go Live).

Proven ability in stakeholder management , training oversight , and UAT coordination
