An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reporting Manager to join the reporting function. This is a highly collaborative role, working across multiple teams and stakeholders to coordinate inputs, challenge information, produce accurate reporting and turn complex data into clear insight for senior leadership.
We are looking for an organised, proactive and confident reporting professional who enjoys working with people, coordinating multiple workstreams and ensuring high-quality information is delivered on time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Project Controls background to develop their career within one of the UK's most important infrastructure programmes.
About the Role
* Support the Reporting Lead in implementing and maintaining robust reporting processes.
* Coordinate stakeholders and workstreams to ensure required information is received accurately and on time, particularly through the month-end reporting cycle.
* Review, sense-check and challenge reporting inputs before they are incorporated into final reports.
* Work closely with data analysts and technical teams to ensure complex datasets are properly analysed and interpreted.
* Translate data into clear reports, dashboards, charts, tables and insightful management information.
* Develop high-quality reporting narratives tailored to different stakeholder requirements.
* Support the production of assured reporting for senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality and efficiency through digital solutions and automation.
* Work with Power BI, Smartsheet and Power Apps, engaging effectively with technical teams without needing to be a Power BI developer.
* Build strong relationships across Project Controls and wider business functions.
* Support changes to reporting processes and help stakeholders adopt new ways of working.
What We're Looking For
* Experience within reporting, Project Controls, PMO or a similar coordination-focused environment.
* Strong understanding of Project Controls structures including WBS, CBS and OBS.
* Experience coordinating stakeholders and bringing together information from different teams to meet reporting deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review, challenge and sense-check information.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
* Ability to develop clear reporting narratives and translate complex information into actionable insight.
* Proactive attitude with the confidence to take ownership and drive tasks through to completion.
* Comfortable working in changing environments and supporting new processes and digital solutions.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Good understanding of data and reporting tools, with Power BI experience desirable.
* Comfortable engaging with technical and data teams.
* Experience within infrastructure, construction, engineering or major projects would be advantageous.
