Technical IT Project Manager – Migration Project (Contract)

Location: Remote (UK-wide) or Hybrid (London)

Contract: 3 months (Outside IR35), potential extension

Start Date: January 2026

About the Project

Robert Half are supporting a leading technology organisation in a major carve-out project for one of its ventures, transitioning from existing systems to operate as a fully independent entity. This involves complex migrations across multiple platforms and coordination with third-party partners.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical IT Project Manager to lead this separation and migration process. You will:

• Drive the migration strategy and execution, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Manage third-party vendors and hold them accountable.
• Engage with technical resources and stakeholders at all levels.
• Oversee platform migrations with a strong focus on Google Workspace and Slack.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience managing Google-to-Google migrations (essential).
• Hands-on knowledge of Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail, etc.) and Slack migrations (essential).
• Familiarity with AWS and GCP environments.
• Experience with HRIS platforms and Atlassian tools (nice to have).
• Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
