Tester

Robert Half have partnered with a global manufacturing firm who are seeking a highly skilled QA Tester with both manual and automation testing experience on a initial 12-month rolling contract. This role is critical to ensuring the quality, functionality, and compliance of software and systems within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine both general and specific quality requirements for software products.

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests to identify functionality issues.

• Analyse test results and collaborate with developers to implement effective solutions.

• Conduct final functionality reviews before product release to ensure compliance and performance standards are met.

• Program and execute test cases and scripts to detect and correct coding defects.

• Track, document, and manage quality issues from discovery to resolution.

• Re-test and verify fixes for previously identified defects.

• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and workflows.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in both manual and automated software testing.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Experience creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and automation frameworks.

• Proficient in defect tracking and documentation tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly.

• Familiarity with working in regulated industries (pharmaceutical or manufacturing preferred).
