UX Designer

UX Designer | Permanent | London

A London-based joint venture, backed by two of the world's largest corporations, is looking for a UX Designer to join a lean, high-impact product and technology team. This is a research-led role for someone who brings genuine rigour to user insight - and knows how to turn it into product decisions that land.

The Company

Operating at the intersection of data, technology, and pharmaceutical supply chains, this organisation is building and evolving a proprietary enterprise platform used by major stakeholders across the US market. The product team is ambitious and well-resourced, with a long-term roadmap and real appetite for innovation - including AI and machine learning integration.

The Role

You'll be the voice of the user across the product team - owning the research programmes that shape product direction and translating findings into clear, usable design. End-to-end, hands-on, and with genuine ownership from day one.

Day-to-day you can expect to be across:

  • User research - interviews, surveys, observational studies, and usability evaluations
  • Translating findings into personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
  • Designing UX for AI and machine learning-powered features, including efficacy testing and governance
  • Running usability tests, iterating on designs based on evidence
  • Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and UI designers throughout the development cycle
  • Communicating design rationale and advocating for user-centred practices to senior stakeholders

What We're Looking For

  • Proven user research experience across qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Strong ability to move from insight to design - Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Solid grounding in UX principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards
  • Comfortable with behavioural analytics and data-informed UX decisions
  • Cross-functional, agile team experience
  • Background in pharmaceutical, retail, or other regulated/complex environments is a plus
  • AI or machine learning product context is a genuine advantage
  • Prior startup or scale-up experience a plus - this person owns their work

Why It's Worth Considering

You won't be one of fifty designers. You'll be a central voice in a product team building something with real-world impact at significant scale, with a three-year roadmap and growing design complexity over time. If you do your best work when research and design are treated as inseparable, this is worth a conversation.
