Reg Reporting Business Analyst (Axiom) - Contract London (City) | Hybrid
A Tier 1 global financial institution is hiring a Financial Controls Analyst to join their International Controllers Change function, supporting a high-profile regulatory reporting programme across APAC.
This role sits within a critical change team delivering against regulatory requirements, including the China One Reporting Project, alongside broader strategic Axiom platform build-out.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering regulatory reporting change initiatives across APAC, focused on capital, liquidity, and financial reporting
- Translating business requirements into user stories and working closely with tech teams in an Agile (Scrum) environment
- Interpreting regulatory guidance and shaping reporting solutions to ensure compliance
- Reducing operational risk through process improvement and automation (Alteryx, Power BI where applicable)
- Supporting build-out of Axiom-based reporting infrastructure
- Documenting processes and contributing to governance across reporting teams
What they're looking for:
- Strong experience in regulatory and financial reporting within financial service s (APAC exposure preferred)
- Solid understanding of capital, liquidity, and core financial/statistical reporting frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Axiom (non-negotiable)
- Experience delivering regulatory change in Agile environments
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence across business and technology teams
- Comfortable working autonomously within a fast-paced change environment
