Overview
We are seeking experienced Data Analysts to join a growing, data-driven team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working hands-on with data, uncovering insights, and supporting data-led decision making.
You will play a key role in interpreting and validating data, identifying trends and drivers, and communicating findings clearly to stakeholders. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving datasets.
Data Analyst Responsibilities
- Perform exploratory data analysis across both structured and unstructured datasets
- Conduct detailed data profiling using Excel, SQL, and other specialised tools
- Deliver segmentation, trend analysis, and anomaly/outlier detection
- Reconcile and validat
- e data across multiple systems and sources
- Present insights in a clear, concise format, including assumptions and confidence levels
- Collaborate with Data Stewards to support data discovery and insight generation
- Partner with Data Engineering teams to support the onboarding and integration of new data sources
- Ensure appropriate handling and governance of sensitive and regulated data (including PII)
As Data Analyst, you will have:
- Proven experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, or Analytics role
- Experience within financial services or alternative investments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of financial data domains (e.g. IBOR/ABOR, transactions, market data, reference data)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL (essential)
- Experience with Power BI is advantageous
- Exposure to Python is beneficial
