Data Business Analyst ServiceNow
Global Financial Services | Glasgow | Hybrid (3 days onsite) 12-month contract
We're hiring a Data Business Analyst to join a global financial services organisation within a large Enterprise Technology function. The role focuses on data requirements, data architecture alignment and ServiceNow CMDB/AMDB, working across multiple technology teams in a complex environment.
Key responsibilities:* Gather and track data and configuration requirements across IT functions* Work with data architects to define and validate technical solutions* Analyse data discrepancies and perform data lineage analysis* Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders* Produce and maintain data artefacts and documentation* Support delivery across multiple projects and programmes
Key experience required:* Extensive experience as a Data Business Analyst* Strong SQL and relational database experience* Hands-on ServiceNow experience (CMDB / AMDB)* Data architecture and data lineage exposure* ITSM / ITIL and asset management knowledge* Strong stakeholder and communication skills
