What you'll be doing

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in building, supporting and improving tools for Continuous Integration, automated testing and release management. You'll bring strong engineering practices to enhance agility, reduce downtime and improve quality across our solutions.

This role goes beyond just tooling, you'll help drive a cultural shift toward embedding agile and DevOps principles across the organisation. You'll also play a part in shaping and evolving best practices, mentoring others and helping to deliver solutions to complex challenges where there may not be an existing roadmap.

About you

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience managing applications in cloud environments, including operational support, troubleshooting, tuning, upgrades and optimisation
  • Mentoring or leadership experience
  • Knowledge or experience with service mesh
  • Strong familiarity with source code repositories (particularly Git)
  • Hands-on experience across the full software lifecycle, including CI/CD and automated deployments
  • Experience with build tools and technologies (e.g., Maven, npm)
  • Familiarity with pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Nexus and SonarQube
  • Experience with at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, Python, Golang, Rust, etc.)
  • Practical knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Cloud experience (public or private) - ideally GCP, Azure, AWS or OCP
  • Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
