DevOps Lead
Robert Walters is working in partnership with global financial institution with a strong presence in investment banking, corporate banking, asset management, and private banking.
Due to continued expansion, they are keen to appoint a DevOps Lead. This is a greenfield appointment, a unique opportunity to shape key initiatives from the ground up. You will play a pivotal role in driving cutting-edge DevOps practices, technology centric transformation and collaborating closely with global technology teams to deliver impactful solutions.
DevOps Lead: Duties
- Provide hands on technical, functional & management support
- Manage global critical applications
- Own strategy/delivery of automation, application, infrastructure monitoring improvements
- Manage platforms resilience
- Apply forward thinking solutions
- Experience of transformation, improving technology landscape.
- Develop/Implement strategies to improve performance
- Develop strategies to improve performance across group technology
DevOps Lead: Experience
- Technical dept across but not limited to:
- Java, UNIX, Linux, Middleware, Web-Logic, Cloud Platforms
- Observability tools
- Designing/Developing/Implementing technology advancements
- Experience of improving resilience of complex production environments
The permanent opportunity for a DevOps Lead will pay a salary range of £70,000 to £80,000 plus benefits, based out of the Central Birmingham offices with a hybrid working model.
