A leading B2B SaaS company is seeking a Finance Director to guide their financial strategy and operations as they expand internationally. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to join a high-growth, award-winning organisation that is revolutionising their market through digital transformation. You will be at the heart of shaping financial governance, supporting commercial decision-making, and driving operational maturity in a business that values impact, ownership, and growth. The role offers significant influence over financial direction, international expansion, and the chance to work closely with a supportive senior leadership team. If you are looking for a position where your expertise will directly contribute to scaling a global platform and where long-term progression is clear, this could be your next career move.

What you'll do:

  • Take full ownership of the organisation's overall financial strategy, planning, reporting, and governance to ensure stability, transparency, and scalability during periods of growth.
  • Lead budgeting processes, forecasting activities, and cash flow management while providing clear financial visibility to support strategic decisions across the leadership team.
  • Oversee all accounting operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, credit control, payroll, VAT compliance, expenses management, and robust financial controls to maintain accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, board reports, and year-end financial statements by collaborating with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks suitable for an expanding international technology business.
  • Support commercial decision-making through detailed financial modelling, pricing analysis, cost tracking initiatives, and performance insight to drive business outcomes.
  • Evaluate tax implications, regulatory requirements, and financial structures for international expansion while recommending appropriate solutions for compliance in new markets.
  • Build strong relationships across departments to enhance financial awareness, accountability, and operational efficiency throughout the organisation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems integration, and reporting automation as the business grows rapidly.

What you bring:

  • Senior finance leadership experience within SaaS or technology-driven environments is essential for overseeing complex operations in high-growth settings.
  • Strong background in financial management covering accounting operations, reporting frameworks, forecasting techniques, cash flow oversight, and internal controls is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to support strategic decision-making through advanced financial modelling skills combined with commercial insight is vital.
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership or founders in scaling organisations ensures effective communication at board level.
  • Solid understanding of UK financial regulations including VAT compliance, payroll administration, and statutory reporting requirements is necessary.
  • Ability to operate at leadership level by clearly communicating performance metrics and risks to non-financial stakeholders is important.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA (or equivalent) would be advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience supporting international expansion including tax structuring considerations adds value in this role.
  • Experience implementing or scaling financial systems or reporting infrastructure in high-growth businesses demonstrates adaptability.
