What you'll do:

  • Serve as technical lead on software, Middleware, or hardware projects. Provide expert guidance on development, design, implementation, architecture, and maintenance, and approve team outputs.
  • Conduct testing for functionality, limitations, and security. Identify and approve solutions, resolve complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and anticipate/prevent problems.
  • Communicate project issues and impacts to stakeholders, evaluate change requests, participate in design/code/test reviews, and present status at milestones.
  • Stay current on IT methodologies and standards. Mentor staff, support training, and review/produce technical documentation, diagrams, and processes.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in standards, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with IT and security policies; contribute to special projects and perform additional duties as needed.

What you bring:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in development.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
  • Expertise in software architecture, system design, and technical leadership for enterprise applications.
  • Strong programming skills: Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Node.js, AWS (CloudFormation, ECS, Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, IAM).
  • Hands-on Agile experience with Confluence, JIRA, dashboards, and process improvement.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system optimization.
  • Desired certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, or Solution Consultant.
  • Experience mentoring teams, defining technical standards, and driving continuous improvement.
