Interim AI & Data Director

We are seeking an Interim AI & Data Director for a leading client in the North of England.

Interim AI & Data Director

Interim AI & Data Director applicants will possess:
- A background in building and leading data engineering, data science, and AI/ML teams
- A strong understanding of Modern data: including pipeline design, cloud platforms, and MLOps
- The ability to translate Data & AI capabilities into commercial language and communicate effectively with executive and board audiences
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience in developing and executing a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with group goals and objectives
- A track record of driving innovation (Running AI Labs etc)
- Practical experience with LLMs, agentic AI workflows, or conversational AI platforms, along with a passion for new technology
- Familiarity with the latest data and cloud tooling (Ideally Microsoft ecosystem)
