Lead Business Analyst - HR/Payroll - Professional Services Firm
A distinguished global organisation is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join its Technology & Transformation division, with a particular focus on Global Payroll Solutions. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for you to refine and advance the business analysis function within an international framework, thereby facilitating meaningful change across numerous regions and brands.
This position combines formal line management and capability leadership with hands-on delivery oversight. You will shape the business analysis function within a global environment, setting standards, building capability and driving consistent, high-quality outcomes. While experience with payroll or HR systems is advantageous, strong business analysis leadership and experience delivering global change are the primary requirements.
As Lead Business Analyst, you will manage and develop a high-performing team of analysts, leading them through complex programmes across multiple jurisdictions. You will be accountable for recruitment, performance management, coaching and professional development, while working closely with international stakeholders to align methodologies and ensure consistent delivery across global initiatives.
Experience required:
- Extensive experience overseeing business change programmes within large-scale organisations possessing global operations.
- Experience with payroll solutions is highly desirable.
- Experience with automation across enterprise-wide processes is advantageous.
- Proficient analytical abilities encompassing process mapping, data analysis, and system evaluation within complex environments.
- Demonstrated experience applying recognised change management methodologies such as APMG or Prosci within programme settings.
- Highly effective communication capabilities enabling collaboration with stakeholders at all levels up to executive leadership.
- Capacity to interact professionally with diverse groups of stakeholders including those whose primary language may differ from English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills conducive to fostering trustful relationships within teams and across departments.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for reporting and presentation purposes.
