What you'll do:

As a Java Developer, you will be instrumental in designing modern applications that are both secure and scalable. Your day-to-day activities will involve building containerised solutions using industry-leading tools such as Docker and Kubernetes while applying best practices like DDD and TDD. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams-including Product Owners, Architects, and Quality Engineers-to integrate complex systems and third-party APIs seamlessly. Your input into architectural decisions will help define the future direction of engineering within the organisation. By participating in code reviews and utilising advanced CI/CD pipelines, you will ensure that all deployments are smooth and reliable. Your commitment to writing well-tested code will underpin the delivery of dependable software solutions that positively impact customers' lives.

  • Design and develop robust frontend and backend services using Java to deliver secure and scalable applications.
  • Test and deploy containerised applications leveraging Docker and Kubernetes for efficient orchestration.
  • Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Quality Engineers to create seamless user experiences.
  • Integrate internal systems with third-party APIs to enhance functionality and reliability across platforms.
  • Contribute actively to architectural decisions that shape the engineering strategy of the organisation.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster knowledge sharing within the team.
